Back in the 90’s this, and many “commie” guns, were a readily available on the free market. I bought one after a friend showed me his, it seemed like a fun gun for under $125. The original CZ-52 came in 7.62×25. I love this round.
This weeks article is another guest article by Dan McNeil. This one much less controversial than his previous articles, and a tribute. He wrote this in May of 2014.
I lost a best friend last week. After 11 years, our Yorkie passed on.
Below is a link to the West Freeway Church of Christ near Fort Worth church shooting (12/29/2019), it has multiple zoom ins and replays so specific areas of the church can be seen during the shooting and immediately afterwards.
This is not Monday quarterbacking, just my analysis (as a church security team leader for 6 years) that will save lives at your church.
Important points that I noted:
Security knew there was an issue, that is why they had several people on that side if the sanctuary watching him. They knew he had a fake beard when he came in. They should have never let him have a seat, they should have politely and quietly pulled him off to the side and “touched” his sides discreetly and talked to him. There are ways to feel for weapons where the person does not know that is what you are doing. Continue reading West Freeway Church of Christ shooting after action report→
This “article” was written as an after action for a recent tornado. I decided to slightly modify it and put it out as an article.
What happened? Two tornadoes went through Christian county and one directly through two subdivisions. There were dozens of tornadoes across the state due to this storm.
I have put my updates at the end of the article as of 10/08/2020.
Back in 2015 I first saw the “Jack” lower by Sharps brothers. Back then I thought “I’ve got to build me one of those” and thus my quest began.
I try to wait and buy parts only when on sale, however I do fail at that. In May 2019 I still did not have all the parts I wanted to complete this build so I gave in and ordered the final parts at retail.
During the years following my finding the Jack lower, I purchased it, and scanned the internet for build ideas, looks at parts that would fit what I envisioned my rifle to look like. Ideas came and went. I took screen shots of numerous builds to give me better ideas of what others had done, what I thought looked good and what was good for them but not for me. As I am writing this the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) is still ramping up in the United States and people are panic buying in bulk all sorts of things, but especially toilet paper, hand sanitizer and cleaning chemicals. As a result, prices have greatly increased and online scamming has gone wild. Continue reading Quit panic buying!→
I have sat on this article since 2015. I can can finally release it.
As some of you know my wife and I were short term missionaries in Uganda. On August 7 of 1998 Al Quada attacked and bombed the US Embassy’s in Nairobi, Kenya and Dares Sallaam, Tanzania. The Embassy in Kampala Uganda was not hit. We left.
This is the story of my friends, and what they experienced in the field. Preppers, Warriors, Christians, Freemen and Slaves need to read this. Continue reading Along the Journey by Barbara→
Many years ago, while I was still in school two beliefs, that were utterly wrong, were placed before the American people, proposed as gospel. The saying “fighting never solved anything” was spread through our schools, churches and homes along with a “zero tolerance” policy which gave victims in the same punishment as the aggressors, or in some cases, there was no aggressor, just stupid teachers, school staff, prosecutors and judges were and are lazy using that “policy” to punish without thought. Over the years I have privilege of taking search and rescue training from FEMA, SEMA, Christian and Green Counties Emergency Management Offices.
As a result I have been able to go on many Search and Rescue or Search and Recoveries (S&R). Each had different results.
When we go out, we are given different amounts of information. We never get the “full story”. Sometimes it’s under the pretense of “keeping information safe” other times those sending us just don’t have a lot of information. Continue reading S&R experiences→
What I want you to consider is using that hierarchy in your preparing for a disaster. Whether you are preparing to bug out for a hurricane, forest fire, TEOTWAWKI or staying locked down due to an ice storm or riots in the street, using the principles presented by Maslow, you can pretty well be sure you get what you really need and don’t stock up on what does not matter to you or your family.
